Off By One

An album about numbers that lie. Every failure caught this week was arithmetic, not prose: a timesheet rendering a day early because 00:00+02:00 is 22:00Z the day before; a commitments label reading '3 open' because LIMIT 3 got printed as a total; a runner asserting toolsDisabled:true through a no-op flag; a column called merged_deltas holding twenty deltas nobody ever read; thirteen songs written by a system that keeps records about itself, sitting four lines above '37 tracks'. None of these lied in a sentence. All of them lied in a count. This is the album that starts counting and ends quiet.
